IPTV player for iPhone and iPad

Tuna IPTV puts your playlist on the screen you already carry. The same player that runs on the big screen works on iPhone and iPad, with a layout built for touch.

Tuna does not include any channels. It is a player: you bring the M3U, M3U8 or Xtream Codes playlist from your own IPTV provider, and Tuna plays it. We have no relationship with any provider and we do not host, index or supply streams.

Made for touch, and for picking things up again

Browse categories, search your whole playlist, and tap a channel to play. Tuna keeps track of what you were watching: the Pick up where you left off section offers your latest content as soon as you open the app, and video playback resumes at the position you stopped.

Your playlists are cached on the device, so the app opens straight into your channel list instead of re-downloading everything.

Picture in Picture keeps the match running in a floating window while you answer a message, and the player knows the difference between a live channel and a film: live streams hide the scrub bar, while films and episodes get a scrubber, skip controls and an offer to play the next episode when one is coming.

Everything in the app

Browse by category

Channels are grouped the way your playlist provides them, with a grid of categories to move through.

Search everywhere

Search across the whole playlist or inside one category. Recent searches are kept so you can repeat them.

Favorites and recents

Mark the channels you actually watch and they float to the top. Recents are always one step away.

Multiple playlists

Add as many M3U or Xtream Codes playlists as you like, refresh them on demand, or remove one you no longer use.

Tidy up the list

Hide or rename categories, merge duplicate channels, and remove entries you will never watch.

Sorting that sticks

Sort alphabetically, by most recently watched, or keep the original order from your playlist.

Single Stream

Paste one direct stream URL and play it immediately, without creating a playlist.

XMLTV EPG

Connect an XMLTV EPG source to see what is on now and what is coming up on each channel.

Light and dark themes

Follow the system appearance, or pin the app to light or dark yourself.

Continue watching

A row of what you had on recently, so you can carry on without hunting for it.

Hide what you never watch

Hidden channels stay out of the way and can be restored at any time.

Duplicate scanner

Find channels your playlist lists more than once and clean them up in one pass.

Resume playback

Tuna offers what you were last watching when you open it, and can jump straight back into your last channel on launch.

Picture in Picture

Keep watching in a floating window while you use another app.

Guide grid on iPad

iPad gets the full six-hour timetable. On iPhone you get now and next instead.

Also on Mac and Apple Vision

The App Store listing covers more than the phone. Tuna IPTV runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 15.1 and later, on Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 12 or later, and on Apple Vision with visionOS 1.0 or later. One app, no separate purchase.

On the television it becomes a living-room player on Apple TV and Android TV.

Getting started

Install the app, open My Playlists, and add the M3U link or Xtream Codes credentials your provider gave you. The guides walk through both: M3U playlists and Xtream Codes.
